Traditional Made-to-Measure suits are built with precision and tailored to reflect your individual style. The process begins with a one-on-one consultation, where our clothiers take the time to understand your wardrobe needs, lifestyle, and body shape. We take 25 to 30 precise measurements including posture, shoulder slope, and natural asymmetries to create a unique base pattern, ensuring a personalised fit that’s distinctly yours.

JACKET ENGINEERING
CANVAS CONTRUCTION
The parts of the suit that you don’t see are what really matters. At FR Clothiers we only manufacture using the traditional canvas construction method.
In this area we shine, by offering both full and half canvas construction. But it goes deeper than that. We use only the best canvas made from a blend of natural fibres including horse hair, cotton & wool.
This allows the garment to shape and mould to your body over time, offering a cleaner drape, better breathability, and greater longevity than fused (fully glued) alternatives.
It’s a thoughtful balance—giving you the performance and elegance of traditional tailoring, while remaining lighter and more accessible than full canvas.

SOFTNESS & EASE
Our approach to tailoring centers around a clear identity: a house style that favors softness and ease. Each jacket is defined by gently sloped shoulders and a natural drape that gives it an effortlessly relaxed character.
Strong design elements like generous lapels, and a deeper buttoning position introduce clarity and shape. Though unstructured in feel, the jacket is far from shapeless, striking a refined balance between the laid-back elegance of Italian tailoring and the sharper edge of London’s formal traditions.
